Intermediate Life Support Medic (ILS)

Graydon is our Managing Director and started Immediate Medical in 2013. Since then he has grown the brand to the Immediate Group which includes, Immediate Health, Immediate Events and Immediate Medical Assist. Graydon has more than two decades worth of experience in the emergency medical sector. He started his journey as a first aider at age 13 working with Medi Sport in Zimbabwe. Moving to South Africa, Graydon, qualified as an Intermediate Life Support Medic and joined Netcare911. It was here where his passion for flying developed and he was awarded the Vodacom/Netcare911 flight medic of the year for both 2007 and 2008. In 2013 Graydon set out to realise his vision, to create an ambulance service that is reliable, professional, patient centered and efficient. With this Immediate Medical was born. Graydon is a qualified and registered Intermediate Life Support Medic, on the Executive Board for SAPAESA, a Private Pilot, and a loving husband and father.
